As we’ve just celebrated one year on from the release of Marilyn Manson’s album “One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1” we’ve compiled a selection of live recordings for songs off the album to generate an incredible set of live highlights.
Only one track has yet to be performed live, which is “Sacrifice of the Mass” although an edit of the track has been used as an intro across shows before leading into “Nod If You Understand.”
We will also soon be posting highlights of the “One Assassination Under God Tour” covering live performances of songs across Marilyn Manson’s discography. One Assassination Under God
“One Assassination Under God” was first performed on February 13th in Munich, Germany. The song featured as the last song in the set during the encore. The song would appear through the year and even served as an opener for the first time on Halloween in Bournemouth, UK. The song would also appear mid set at some of the shows following.
No Funeral Without Applause
“No Funeral Without Applause” made its live debut later on in the year and to date has only ever been performed twice. September 25th in Denver, Colorado was the first performance and so far has only ever been performed again on September 27th in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Nod If You Understand
“Nod If You Understand” served as the opening song when Marilyn Manson began touring this year in Europe. Its live debut was on February 10th in Zurich, Switzerland and has remained in the setlist at every show following this year. Almost always as the opening song, only a few times moved up in the setlist.
As Sick As The Secrets Within
“As Sick As The Secrets Within” was the first single released for Chapter 1, making its live debut on August 3rd 2024, in Silver Spring, Maryland. The song was performed through the end of 2024 and across all shows in 2025.
Sacrilegious
“Sacrilegious” was the third single released for Chapter 1, however the song didn’t make its live debut until May 2nd 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The song remained in the setlist for every show throughout the rest of the year, Marilyn Manson wears his jacket from the music video which looks great on stage.
Death Is Not A Costume
“Death Is Not A Costume” featured in the first European leg of touring in 2025, making its live debut on Feb 10th in Zurich, Switzerland. The song was only performed 9 times this year with it last appearing in the setlist at Wolverhampton, UK on Feb 23rd.
Meet Me In Purgatory
“Meet Me In Purgatory” also featured across the first European leg this year, making its live debut also on Feb 10th in Zurich, Switzerland. This song was performed a few more times including a festival in Peru and some early Spring shows in USA.
Raise The Red Flag
“Raise The Red Flag” was the second single released for Chapter 1, the song made its live debut on Aug 24th, 2024 in Calgary, Albuquerque. The song was only performed 3 times in 2024 and 9 times in 2025, appearing through the year in Europe, Turkey and festivals in Peru, USA and Kazakhstan.
Marilyn Manson will conclude the “One Assassination Under God Tour” for this year at Knotfest in Mexico tonight (Dec 6, 2025). The tour will resume next year with European summer dates already announced with tickets on sale now at MarilynManson.com
