30 years ago today Marilyn Manson released his debut full-length studio album "Portrait Of An American Family". Produced by Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor and released through Nothing - Interscope Records on July 19 1994.

"Get Your Gunn" lead the promotion by being the first single from the album and featured a music video which put Marilyn Manson across the major radio and music T.V. channels. The promotion followed with "Lunchbox" for the second commercial single and "Dope Hat", whilst the latter was not released as a commercial CD single, it was promoted on the radio and even had a music video to play on tv music channels.
Marilyn Manson was promoted and interviewed by major music magazines and went on the first major headlining tour across North America. Manson had proved that he was going to be a major success and "Portrait Of An American Family" was just the beginning...
