DJ Snake Reworks Marilyn Manson's ''This Is The New Shit'' On New Track With Space Laces. Posted by Provider Module on May 27 2025

DJ’s and electronic dance music producers DJ Snake and Space Laces have released a new track "Reloaded" which is from DJ Snake’s forthcoming album "Nomad." The track is a reworking of Marilyn Manson’s "This Is The New Shit" which was released in 2003 from "The Golden Age Of Grotesque."

Some of the lyrics have been slightly changed and obviously being taken into a different music genre the track is quite different from Marilyn Manson’s original. The track "Reloaded" has been fully credited for being written by Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson), John 5, Space Laces, Tim Skold and William Grigahcine (DJ Snake).

"The track reworks Marilyn Manson’s provocative 2003 cut "This is the New Sh*t," flipping its snarling vocal hooks into high-octane chants, surrounded by menacing synths, grinding guitars, and relentless hard dance beats. It’s a raw, electrified evolution — not just a remix, but a reinvention." - hit-channel.com

Reviews from electronic dance music sites are praising "Reloaded" for being a great mix of hard rock, rap and electronic music and that it’s been transformed into a fierce, rave-fueled weapon designed for absolute chaos. You can check the track out by giving it a listen via YouTube linked below.

Premiered at his historic “Final Show” at Stade de France—a night that drew 80,000 fans—Reloaded wasn’t just a debut. It was a war cry. With Space Laces beside him, DJ Snake ignited one of the largest Wall of Deaths in dance history, all while reimagining Marilyn Manson’s infamous 2003 anthem into something entirely his own. What emerged was a genre-warping rave weapon, bending rock, rap, and electronic chaos into a new kind of rebellion. In this moment, Snake didn’t just show range. He issued a challenge to the entire scene. - edmnomad.com
